New York Restaurant Design is a family owned and operated Interior Design firm, and professional restaurant design firm. We have a complete in-house planning and design department. Our staff is well trained to deliver creative thinking, and cost effective planning and design. NYRD handles in-house Interior Design, Food Service Planning, Space Planning, Project Coordination, Drafting, Sketching, Purchasing, Project Supervision, along with full implementation. In addition, we are affiliated with an architect and engineer. From inception of the design schematic to implementation, all facets of the project are addressed and professionally accomplished.
Design Schematics
These include; space planning, alteration and expansion plans, scale floor plans, showing location of furniture & furnishings, equipment, accenting features, custom fabricated items, reflective ceiling plans and lighting, materials boards with all selections, and sketches & renderings showing how the conceptual will turn into a realization.
Consultation
We meet with the client at their facility and view the scope of the project, along with a budgetary guideline. This early planning meeting is the essential first step for the food service owner to detail the requirements of the project. We review the following:

- Design concept and menu
- Budgets
- Conceptual development
- Landlord negotiations
Building
At NYRD, we are involved with project management and construction supervision, in conjunction with an affiliated licensed Architect & Engineer. We work closely and efficiently with all trades during the build out phase, so that we can create the desired design that was in the initial concept to make it a success.
